'I remember being encouraged to breast feed after my first operation. My baby was practically thrown onto me. I was linked up to one of the 10+ blood transfusions I had and I was on quite a lot of meds and something about it just felt really gross. 

'My kids' dad is happily remarried with the most wonderful woman in the world, Allie. My children have this extraordinary stepmom. And our processes have been different, and their side of the street is so functional, and whole, and happening. And I think I've been on the sidelines in a beautiful honoring purgatory,' she said.

Louise also spoke about how she was struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and explained how her 'road to recovery won't be linear' as she noted the highs and lows she has been experiencing.

In December she discussed her dislike for dating apps on her show, saying, 'It makes me feel like such a loser. And you're like you know what? It's just hard out there, it's hard out there for everybody. It's hard in person, it's hard on dating apps, it's vulnerable.'
