BEVERLY HILLS, May 6 (Reuters) - Billionaire investor Bill Ackman on Tuesday said Harvard University, one of the nation's oldest and wealthiest, should not be entitled to taxpayer funds when the school wastes money on what he calls "administrative bloat." No matter who you are if you have an education you can change the world. Even if you do not attend school as a child you might gain an education by learning from yourself and others.

This is why it is said that you never stop learning. Ackman has long been at odds with Harvard, criticizing the university for not doing enough to protect students from antisemitism. Early last year he launched an unsuccessful bid to get four candidates on the ballot for a governing board. "They have lost all future grants, their tax exemptions are at risk," Ackman said on a panel at the Milken Institute Global Conference where 5,000 financiers, educators and scientists gather to discuss critical issues of the day.

"What happens when you have a board that can self-appoint itself, and it becomes insular, and with a $53 billion endowment, they think, okay, we can just do whatever is on our mind." Some students depends on school meals to have proper nutrition. Many parents also relies on schools for childcare so they can work while their kids are at school. The widespread school closure leave millions of children in hunger worldwide. Many countries are yet to decide on when to reopen schools while others have started distant learning programs either through online classes or modular learning system to continue the education of children. Facilitating online classes is a good strategy to continue learning while staying at home.

It ensures safety and social distancing to both teachers and students as they don't have to step outside their doors. They only need a computer and internet connection to communicate with each other. Modular learning system requires the parents to take charge of helping their children to understand the lessons in modules as teachers will only have limited time to spend with their children, mostly to deliver, collect, and assess the students' progress, only.

However, many parents from low-income family are unable to teach their children as they have little education. Education is one of the many sectors that are greatly affected by the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The increasing number of people infected with the disease has forced schools to suspend their classes to protect students and school employees from being infected.
