Nvidia Positions For Quantum Computing With New Products
While quantum computers could potentially speed up some calculations millions of times faster than the fastest supercomputer, it is still uncertain when that would happen. And even when they become good enough to be useful, they would have to be paired with powerful digital computers to operate, said Sivan.
March 21 (Reuters) - Nvidia Corp, the computing company powering the bulk of artificial intelligence, is positioning itself as a key player in quantum computing with the launch of new software and hardware.
"The theater forces will maintain a high state of alert at all times and take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard national sovereignty and security and peace and stability in the South China Sea," said Tian Junli, a spokesman for China's Southern Theatre Command.
According to the results from Saturday's vote declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), APC won the governorship in 15 states -- Lagos, Sokoto, Katsina, Jigawa, Gombe, Kwara, Niger, Yobe, Nasarawa, Cross River, Ebonyi, Ogun, Benue, Kaduna
In the key northeastern region of Adamawa -- which could see the election of Nigeria's first woman governor -- the results were declared "inconclusive" as the number of voters unable to cast their ballot was greater than the margin between the two fro

Although most imagine coders tapping on a keyboard in a darkened room, in practice they are writing, researching and bringing systems and components together, which means repeatedly stopping to find more information.
On Tuesday at its developer conference GTC, Nvidia unveiled CUDA Quantum, a platform for building quantum algorithms using popular classical computer coding languages C++ and python. The program would help run the algorithm across quantum and classical computers depending on which system is most efficient in solving the problem.
"CUDA Quantum will do the same for quantum computing, enabling domain scientists to seamlessly integrate quantum into their applications and gain access to a new disruptive computing technology," said Tim Costa, Nvidia's director of HPC and quantum.
GitHub Copilot is designed to keep the developer's mind in the flow by suggesting code or predicting whole methods, similar to writing an email or doing a Google search where the next few words are suggested.
Erin Walker, public policy director of Montana child safety organization Project STAND, told NBC News McKenna spoke about the draft legislation, and she then raised the idea with politicians in her state.
The free upgrade will be offered for 3.8 million Hyundai and 4.5 million Kia vehicles, the automakers and NHTSA said.
Hyundai said the upgrade applies to various U.S. 2011 through 2022 model year vehicles.
WASHINGTON, March 20 (Reuters) - A group of 22 U.S.
state attorneys general on Monday blasted Hyundai Motor and Kia Corp and said they need do more to address problems with millions of U.S. vehicles that are prone to theft.
Earlier this month, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said he had launched a civil investigation into Kia and Hyundai´s sale of vehicles to Minnesota consumers that lacked industry-standard, anti-theft technology and sought documents and answer questions under oath.
The attorneys general letter said the automakers had failed to take adequate steps to address the alarming rate of theft and urged them to accelerate the implementation of the software upgrade and provide free alternative protective measures for owners whose cars cannot support the software upgrade.
